LAST DAYS OF OCTOBER

The title of this Finnish artist's song is "Towards the Darkness". Every day it's getting darker and darker as we get closer to the end of the year. At the same time the flame inside me is burning stronger and brighter - even thou it might look dark outside, inside the lights are on. Don't let your light die, nourish it with the things and people that make you happy and smile. Smile!

Life shows itself in all different colours. Sometimes it might seem only black and white but if we truly look, we'll find all the shades of all the colours hidden even in the tiniest things. Some people are so absolute with their opinions that it is almost impossible to talk with them from different angles and perspectives. I have my opinions but I don't think I know the truth or believe that there is only ONE truth. We should try to see the both sides of the coin because how we experience life, is unique and quite one-sided and unless we try to understand the others, we might get trapped in a lonely island. Try to learn from the others, have empathy and understanding, show love and respect, even when facing hatred, and enjoy every day like it was your last - because it just might be. Nobody guaranteed tomorrow and yesterday is already gone so what do you have? Today and this moment!

ANOTHER NIGHT IN NEW YORK

But here's some more from another night in New York, after a Nordic fashion show where collections such as Lialia, Royal Extreme, Tiia Vanhatapio and Islaet were presented. The show was interesting and had so much fun in the after party with my collegues, oh those days!

IVANAhelsinki EVENING

Some pictures from yesterday's event which was arranged in our shop, in Helsinki. Journalist and television presenter Anna Perho was interviewing author Riikka Pulkkinen who had her second novel Totta published this fall. It was a relaxed, informal event where the two artists discussed about Riikka's books and generally about love and life. Very interesting and thought-provoking conversations! In the future we'll be most propably arranging same kind of events once a month so stay tuned or join our Facebook group!
