Tonight at the IVANAhelsinki shop a Finnish singer Manna will be interviewed by Anna Perho and perform acustic. Exciting! I'll post some pics of the evening later. Check out Manna's music video meanwhile!

Isn't she just BEAUTIFUL or what! And what a voice, mmmmmm.

WATER THE ROOT, EAT THE FRUIT

Check out this really interesting panel discussion featuring film director David Lynch, quantum physicist Dr. John Hagelin and Dr. Fred Travis, and expert of the brain, Director of the Center of Brain, Consciousness and Cognition Maharishi University of Management. The video gives some good thoughts to think of about reality, consciousness, oneness, meditation, learning, creativity and ultimately about peace, inner and outer. It is something really really beautiful! Shut the television and watch this, you won't regret skipping the CSI or whatever's on the telly!

SAINT SNAKE

Opening the shop. Eyes haven't quite yet opened...

Bangs starting to be so long that maybe need
to get a haircut - what do you think?

Vintage snake jewelry from NY. Can be worn as
a necklace, bracelet, belt - you name it!

I've started to make morning smoothies to work
which I absolutely love! This one's made of banana,
blueberries, ginger, coconut flakes, almond flakes,
crushed berry and flaxseed mix, oat milk,
honey and vanilla powder. Yummy!

This tea including chili makes those sleepy eyes
of mine wake up...

and a reminder for every day. Have a nice weekend!

I FEEL SO MUCH A PART OF THIS

LESSON NO. 1

04:33 First rule in this world baby, don't pay attention to anything you see in the news.

HELLO LIFE!

Do you know that feeling when you're about to explode out of joy, relief, excitement and fear, all mixed together? Like you've been pulled out of the ground, flying above the clouds and don't know where to land?

After 5 years of studies in Haaga-Helia, the University of Applied Sciences, I finally graduated last Friday - so unreal! After everything, starting the studies enthusiastically, getting good grades to working hard besides studies, health problems and all the big changes in my life this year, I didn't give up but pushed it through. There were times when I couldn't have cared less if I graduated or not. Times when I doubted myself, the studies, everything and nothing. But all the time, in the back of my head, I knew that someday I would graduate. It might take a bit longer than "normally" but then again, I've never liked the "normal life". Sometimes life takes unexpected turns to which you somehow adapt - I try to turn it all to something good, see it more as a growing project than a "failure". What is a failure? Some of the most remarkable innovations have been discovered accidentally or by luck, such as Viagra which was in the first place made to treat hypertension. Well, in the end it was found not to do the job it was supposed to - a FAILURE - but some users felt that SOMETHING was working in some other way - great success!

So, how I see it is that we can learn from everything. If life kicks you in the ass, it's kicking you forward! Your goals might be further and take longer time to reach than planned but with perseverance everything can be possible - especially with the support of loving people around you. My success is also their success, because of them I'm now where I am. Graduated and feeling like new-born, ready to take life's new challenges! BRING IT ON!
