HELSINKI POETRY JAM

Some pics from last weekend's Poetry Jam night in Mascot, Helsinki. Many different kind of performancers with different styles amused us the whole night. Next jam will be in the same place March 19th - I'll be definatelly going there!

IVANAhelsinki POP UP STORE

We opened a IVANAhelsinki & Love Contemporary Pop Up Store in NY, 238 Mulberry. If you're around go check it out! The shop is open until March 17th and has some program every evening. The launch of Love Contemporary Magazine will take place today in the shop and the new IVANAhelsinki collection S/S 2010 "Leaving Circus" will be presented. Live music by Alexa Wilding and special guest DJ Erica Forster of Au Revoir Simone. Should be fun and interesting!

HAIR BRUSH ATTACK

I'll tell you about my last night. Nothing dirty, I promise! You know those days when you've decided that today I'll go early to sleep and you do. You're happy and proud of yourself - I did it, I'll have a nice sleep tonight and wake up fresh and bright in the morning! But then. Then either you can't catch the sleep or your back is itching so that you wake up every 15 minutes to an annoying itch just there where you can't reach! O h m y g o d d e s s. I thought I'd go crazy when the itching didn't stop and in the end I had to sleep a hair brush under my pillow to scratch my back every now and then. But then when you think, some people have to sleep a knife under their pillow. Luckily I just needed a hair brush.

I was contacted by stylestalker, a clothing label by design duo Rachel Zeilic and Sue-Ann San, to check out their new collection and just absolutely fell in love with the things they do! I love the combination of the soft and hard, dark and light, chic and boho. The clothes have a sense of sophistication but with a relaxed, modern touch. Simple yet comlex! That's what my mind flow brings of the pieces. I hope you get some inspiration too of the following pics and the lovely video! Seems like they had a fun photo shoot, I wanna do it too - jump in pretty dresses and high heels!
