Yesterday me and some friends went to see a special gig by a Finnish-French band, Breakfast at Phoebe's, in Antti Asplund's store. Or actually it wasn't a band because only two members of the band were performing but the duo played well and I fell in love with their music. It's really special and something I hope to hear soon again!
After the gig we stopped to eat and drink some wine, and some more wine, in BaliHai and then continued to DTM... and drank some more... and a bit more... and danced liked there wasn't tomorrow... and went to sleep at 5 a.m. ... and tomorrow came. With headache. But it was so much fun! Spontanius parties are the best!

MOVIE TIP: Some Like It Hot
Yesterday my friend stayed night over and we decided to watch the old classic Some Like It Hot starring Marilyn Monroe, Jack Lemmon and Tony Curtis - I just love the end of the movie!
We also tried on some old eye glasses... Well, we had fun, I'll say!

SUPERGRAN
Australian Bette Calman, 83, is a living proof that yoga can take off couple of decades from your age:
"While others her age complain about aches and pains, Mrs Calman focuses on getting touch balancing manoeuvres right. Mrs Calman from Williamston, southeast Australia, can do all the difficult moves including the agonising "peacock" where body is held in a horizontal position by the strength of the arms alone. The bendy granny can also pull off a tricky raised "lotus", "bridge" and a headstand with ease. She can also put her head between her knees and hold her ankles putting her inflexible grandchildren to shame."
HAHAH! She's my idol!

RAUHA TRIO CLUB IN SEMIFINAL
Couple pictures from Semifinal some weeks ago. Finnish Villa Nah and Idolae played live and it was the first time I'd heard about both bands. I was positively suprised! I wore a self made hair bow - I called it The Sad Bow because it wasn't perky and stiff at all but looked more like it hang sadly from my head. Snif!

SANTA'S HERE, KIDS!
How was your Christmas? Mine was quite traditional: first to the Christmas church (even thou I don't belong to the church anymore but it's so fun every year..!), some singing, eating my grandma's Karelian pies with egg butter, my dad's delicious Christmas food, listening my grandparents' stories about our crazy family and then the gifts and some tea. Today we'll be just chillin, cleaning a bit and then eating the rest of the food that was left from yesterday - I love Christmas food!
I also love this pictures of kids, and some older kid, with Santa Claus. Hope you also got a visit by the Santa Claus!

MOVIE TIP: The Little Princess
I loved this movie (1939) when I was a kid. Still love it! It tells about a little girl Sara (sweet Shirley Temple) whose father is sent to the war while she is put to an exclusive seminary for girls, only to wait for his father to return back home. After a while a message is sent that Captain Crew, the father, has been killed and from there on Saras' life will take a radical change to something completely different from what she knows. Watch it! There's also a newer version of the story which is said to be good as well. Have to watch that someday.

AND PEACE ON EARTH
Today evening I'll decorate our Christmas tree at my parents home where we traditionally celebrate Christmas. I wish I would have these hand painted papier mache baubles to use, just love them!
