LUNACY

Full moon occurs when the Moon is on the opposite side of the Earth from the Sun. Sun and Moon, dancing around Earth, are today facing each other and uniting into a marriage of the masculine and feminine energies, the Goddess and God embracing each other. Hatha (sun/moon), yang-yin - balancing the two energies that affect all life on Earth is what we should aim at in our own lives. Sun and Moon inside you, playing around, both receiving and giving, finally two becoming One. One Love.

WHEN I'M IN NATURE

"I feel drained thematically if I'm in the city too long. I think that when I'm in nature—for example, I went to Big Sur last year on a road trip and just looking up and seeing dark shadows of trees and starry skies really gets me and makes me feel happy. I would sit right by the sea, and any time I have been a bit stuck I will go for a long walk along the ocean and it's just really good to see vast horizons, I think, and epic, huge, all-encompassing visions of nature really humble you and give you a good sense of perspective and the fact that you are just a small particle of energy that is vibrating along with everything else."

YOGA AT PIHASALI

This is how seriously we take yoga - no, don't laugh! Here with Wonder Woman Meri in my class in Pihasali. She teaches at yoga studio Asana in Helsinki. Her love for yoga and arts can be seen in her teaching and at the studio - nothing too serious but everything is done with passion, flow and joy. I'm so happy to have met so many soulicious, beautiful women through yoga who inspire me to continue this and become a better teacher. Like Satu has said: success is in the collaboration - not the separation. Well said! Love you girls!
