MARINA AND ULAY

"Marina Abramovic and Ulay started an intense love story in the 70s. When they felt the relationship was ending, they walked the Great Wall of China, each from one end, meeting for one last big hug in the middle and never seeing each other again.

At her 2010 MoMa show Marina shared a minute of silence with each stranger who sat in front of her. Ulay arrived without her knowing and this is what happened."

TEAR ALERT! But every tear worth it.

BACK TO PARIS

The day came when we had to leave Le Tardoun so me and mom head our way back to Paris.
The mantra's we've chanted in the retreat kept on playing in my head. Om shanti shanti shanti.

NAVY LADIES NIGHT

At my friends work studio house warming party some weeks ago. It was lively,
colorful and a fun night as you would guess when four art educators all working in
varying fields of art (and yoga!) are hosting their studio party
Painting in the background by one of the talented ladies, Eeva Honkanen.

Meri in the background, getting jiggy on the "dance floor"!

Gorgeous theme dressing - aye sir!

I pulled on a vintage marine shirt from couple years back if you remember this post!
Still loving it!

Meri's art work. Isn't she talented little darling or what!

FAKE CAKE IN THE BLOGSPHERE

We got visited and written about by many blog writers, some even from Denmark yipee! If you wanna read or look more pics, click

ME!
or MEEEE!
or maybe ME
and then after that ME!

Here's our Danish visitors video made of The Restaurant Day - our cafe isn't unfortunatelly shown in the video but Cathrine's words are making us believe that the day was successfull:

"Mix a yoga studio, a girl that makes incredible tasty raw-food desserts and an upcoming local artist. Blend in sponsored furniture, dresses and plants. Stir and add friendly hosts, relaxed guests, a good atmosphere and pretty signs. Turn up the heat, take off your shoes and enjoy the dim lightning – Then you have the perfect pop up restaurant. Visiting this place made you wish it was open every day."

YOGA IS THE DEVIL'S WORK

says Vatican's chief exorcist, Father Amorth. He's not that keen into Harry Potter either, read more about Satan's work here!

Below Banksy's new work 'Cardinal Sin'. More here.

A LOUSY POEM

A dear friend sent this quote to me in a moment when I just needed it. Maybe it will also inspire you!
The arts are not a way to make a living. They are a very human way of making life more bearable. Practicing an art, no matter how well or badly, is a way to make your soul grow, for heaven’s sake. Sing in the shower. Dance to the radio. Tell stories. Write a poem to a friend, even a lousy poem. Do it as well as you possibly can. You will get an enormous reward. You will have created something. Kurt Vonnegut
